In 2009, Governor Schwarzenegger signed into law the Harvey Milk Day bill. Sponsored by Equality California (EQCA) and authored by Senator Mark Leno, the bill designates a day each May to honor Harvey Milk, one of the nation's first openly LGBT elected officials.

This year, on Sunday, May 23, we are extremely pleased to be co-hosts for an official Palm Springs celebration of the first annual Harvey Milk Day. Our stunning listing in Old Las Palmas, a Palm Springs classic, has been selected as the location for this invitation-only brunch.

Hosted by Kit Marshall and Gary D. Soto, featured guests include Senator Mark Leno, Assemblymember Mary Salas, Stuart Milk (nephew of Harvey Milk) and EQCA executive director Geoff Kors. All ticket purchases and donations will fund the work of Equality California's PAC.
